basically starting with gameboy. nes was shit for most games had a 5 second ending that was not worth it to play through all the hardship, except you lived in the 80s and had no better console. poor souls.

Almost all the SNES games have a trophy system on the SNES Network. Just speed-running a game will get you bronze, patrician players like me 100% as many games as we can for platinum, my stats:

Its a linear level were the only secrets make you skip levels, so there is no way to 100% it

Technically sure. I'm pretty sure I grinded my life away on that game long enough that I've seen every bit of it though. Once the dark queen was dead I was happy but it was more of a sense of relief. I was happier just to be done with it.

Playing the game is satisfaction in itself. Endings are just fluff, and their presence should not determine your satisfaction.

Sometimes it's just tedious retarded bs though. The iron giant from ff3 (i think) is an example of this. They basically make you grind to lvl 99 to beat a hidden boss when you alread beat the game around the high 60's or 70's
