>>2766190The quickest fix would be to pour some rubbing alcohol onto the A button and let it seep into the area underneath. Then press the button a bunch to let it work itself in. Not as good as opening it up and cleaning the contacts directly with a q-tip, but if you want a quick fix, that'll do it.
Alcohol evaporates extremely quickly, but obviously you don't want to soak the whole controller in an alcohol bath and immediately plug it in. Give it a minute to dry out before you start using it.
