Realized /wsg/ doesn't have one yet. So this thread is to ask all the questions you want to ask without starting a new thread and shitting up the whole front page (seriously nigger why aren't you using the catalog)

I'll start off:

How do you guys record high quality (1080p, 30-60fps) videos? I'm using NCH Debut, but even in "fast record" mode I can only get about 20fps, and it still lags and skips occasionally. For now I'm mostly looking at recording HD YouTube videos but gameplay will be a subject in the future.

Wondering what video editing software you guys use? I downloaded NCH VideoPad today, and it's handy because you can directly edit and save webm files, but I have no experience with other editing software. I'm curious what the "best" is.

Been trying a few hours now and can't hardcode and overlay a subtitle stream over the video stream. The video which is in a MKV format has two subtitle streams, #3 and #4. How do I go for the #4 stream instead of the #3 (default) one?

Here is my code
