anyone remember those really weird fever dreams from when you were a kid, where objects (and you) would feel infinitely large but at the same time infinitely small, and you had extreme panic anxiety because you couldn't deal with it? It often involved geometric shapes in shades of gray. You would also have a warped sense of sound, where it felt like everything was amplified in a weird way.
Anyone speak latin/know of any cool latin phrases or stuff like that? I've always been really intrigued by everything latin, it has this feel of wisdom and mystery to me.
Why is speaking Latin in movies and other media always tied with the occult, or having a lot of power to it? I'm curious, does this have some truth to it, or is it just some stupid Hollywood trend.
When he was little, my father used to play in a wooded area near his house. One day, he was playing when he suddenly felt a presence behind him. He looked up, did not see the man's face (all he knew was that it was a man) because he was so tall and then bolted as fast as he possibly could. When he arrived home, he wrapped around his grandmother's leg and stayed in that position for the entire night and perhaps longer, I can't remember. When he explained to his grandma about what he had seen, she told him that perhaps he was a the "protector of children" warning him that something awful was about to him if he had ventured deeper into the woods. I just finished watching a documentary on the "Slender Man" and realized that my god, what my dad saw fit the description perfectly. The trauma inflicted on him also matched the symptoms of meeting this man. Has anyone met this guy? He likes staying close to wooded areas.

Hey all, my name is Daniel, I prefer to go by Dread but that's not important. Call me whatever you like. Today, I turned 20, and I came to the realization. I've had my fair share of Ghosts and Demons, but I've never actually felt Terror. I want to feel Terror ripping away at my brain. I want to be so scared that I can't comprehend what I'm seeing, I want to feel total insanity. How would I go about doing that? What would you recommend?
