the one which defies all of my explanations was when I was about 11, which makes the memory rather dubious at best.
Lived in a double wide mobile home park, no gravel shit it wasn't completely white trash, people had yards and gardens and shit.
anyway, I was slight friends with one of the people that lived down the road, went to his house one time and he and some other kid was like hey check this out, we walked about 7 houses down the road and around a corner.
A significant way from his house it seemed to me at the time, at any rate he went to the person's gate and nothing at all seemed odd, he repeated "check this out", we went through the person's yard, went through a second person's yard and his yard was at the other end.
I know for a fact that each property in that park had a back yard, I later confirmed that with my mom, who I was living with at the time, and I know I went at least 7-10 houses down from his, but we only went through two yards before hitting his.
Nor did it seem there were multiple houses sharing spaces/plots of land because they more or less looked the same from the front and there was only one per plot.
still can't really explain that shit, for the longest time I've assumed some spatial disturbance shit but I just don't know.
