Some force or entity is molding my environment into a form which it finds conducive to its reception. The entity is never not near, but it's machinations are subtle and quiet.
I recommend having a very broad life experience, of many many things, in many paths of being. This may be the key to the old dogma of Hebrew Kabbalists being rejected from study unless they are of a certain age. Certainly, in history at least, the experience rarely happens to the young.
Socrates would say his Daemon never actually spoke or guided him, it removed options from the table, and event of late leave me inclined to agree up to a certain extent. The circumstances of the reception of Liber 7 and 65 also tend to indicate this, though Liber L, as always, is the odd man out, and is easily handwaved away as an after-the-fact account of experience of Face rather than a Cairo transmission.
Vision and Voice gives a sort of preamble for K&C ritual work in....the 8th Aethyr. AC recommend both it and Samekh for working around DL and 5=6 without. I'd be inclined to take the 8th Aethyr and then write your own ritual instead of Samekh, though similar in length, form, and complexity.
