>>16885316I think you probably lack the charisma, theology, drive or understanding of human nature to do this.
Evidence to support these claims:
Theology problem : You didn't even pitch your distinction. You've got to have some idea as to what every other Christian sect is doing wrong and a convincing explanation as to why what you're doing is right
Drive : Beyond the fact that you're not just doing it, and didn't try to convince anyone here it was more legitimate, see theology. You haven't even put the basic groundwork into your idea.
Understanding of Human Nature : Even beyond the problem of theology is how to form and maintain a cult. How are you going to get people involved, how are you going to convince them to change their current beliefs and lifestyle, abandon their current religious communities, etc. Esoteric secrets, emotional abuse, cash rewards? It's a tricky thing to convince people you have what they need.
Charisma : It's a rare gift and those with it are usually neck deep in either an established condition they're committed to or already have their fingers in a million pies. L. Ron Hubbard wouldn't come here and casually mention he was going to trick us all. He'd come here, form a skype group and a paypal account and have a few hundred bucks minimum by the end of the first week.
