Hey /x/ don't really lurk here a lot but I think I may need your guys advice. So I'm currently 90% certain my apartment is haunted. Pretty sure the spirit isn't like "lethal" but its been scaring the shit out of me and I can't sleep that well. Any advice for getting rid of it?

First of all you should probably try to identify what kind of spirit it is. This is the difficult part because you need to identify what kind of school of the paranormal you want to roll with.
For example, is it a spirit in the christian sense? perhaps it's something related to shamanistic beliefs? Is it a spirit as interpreted by buddhist scholars? You get the picture.

Once you do, just try to find rites proper to the type of being that you may think it is.

Okay sounds good. Its an apartment in recent construction and as far as I can tell the spirit just seems like creepy? It don't do any malicious per say but I'll jostle awake in the middle of the night and this woman is just staring at me. Whenever I get up to get close or yell at it, it'll disappear. She honestly looks...like really horriyfing. Just the thoigh of what it looks like gives me anxiety. So far my research didn't turn up any leads on murders in the building or any preexisting structure so I'm a little stuck.

Maybe I am catholic. Idk man its really weird. I feel like the thing is really angry. Not at me per say, but in general. I think it may just want acknowledgement of its anger, but I don't wanna fuck with it or give it acknowledgement for fear of something deeper. Also I noticed my grammar is crappy, I'm sorry super tired she came again last night. If is helps as well shes not like bloody or dead looking. She just looks....like I guess emeciated in the face? Like atrophied all over but not rotting per say. She never makes any sound, and isn't always looking at me, but just the presence of her wakes me up and it only happens at night.

tbf I don't think it wants to be here. It's like disgruntled about its situation and like stubbornly doesn't want "help" per say but doesn't feel like it wants revenge. Its like the feeling when you see someone who made a stupid mistake and is angry at themselves/in general.

Haven't done shit tbh. I know a little about spirirts and demons and have tried no to invite/be open with/piss off/ or permit it in any way. So far see above responses. I guess I'm at a point were its hard to feel it out so idk where to really go forward with it. Thinking about conferring with a priest but I don't want to be laughed at.

My gf slept over and nothing happened. During the day its fine. It only ever happens at night. I've considered maybe that I'm like super stressed, but its weird. It literally the most real shit ever and its driving me nuts.

Honestly bro. Don't talk to it. Don't reason with it and don't invite it to do anything. Command it to leave in the name of Jesus. That's it. These movies have run times of 1 and a half hours that's why they show the catholic nonsense of fighting the spirit. Jesus has power to command all spirits and in his name we have the same power
