So /x/, do you have a dream city? This is something that's been in my family for a few generations. I'm curious if anyone else has these.

My grandfather used to dream of this city he called "Quay." (Not sure if that's how it's spelt.) He said he knew it wasn't a real place, but that if he ever visited that city, he'd know it exactly and how to get places.

My Dad used to dream of a street, a specific one, but he knew it wasn't real. Similar to my grandfather, he said he'd know it if he were ever on that street, and where all the houses were.

Used to, I only dreamed of extra rooms in houses. But lately, I've also started dreaming of a huge, metropolitan city. I know it's not a real place, but if I went there, I'd know many parts of it. I know that it's bigger than what I've dreamed, and the only thing I know for certain about the whole city is that it has a monorail for public transportation.

I think my father knew the street crossing, but I'm not sure. My city doesn't have a name. I'm curious, does anyone else have these sorts of dreams? Any that have been through generations of family?
