I've always been obsessed with lake superior. It's so massive and beautiful. Is there any interesting stories about it besides ghost ship stories, since there's a million of those?

I once read on a poster in a restauraunt in grand marais michigan that there was a minorly famous air force/ufo encounter there

I also visited an abandoned air force station in that town which was spooky

Ive been going to the lake superior shores yearly my whole life. Made lots of friends there. They took me to places no one else would see like an abandoned air radar facility that would scan the Superior incase german bombers would come via Canada. It was honestly very spooky but since no one would have died there it was just spooky because it was untouched for 60 years. I have other stories too but I dont think anything is really explicitly interesting outside of the ufo link
