Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland. It is more about Wicca but I would still recommend it to get a good understanding of the whole thing.

There is no substitute for doing your own research on Norse/Germanic history. Also family history. Not just the religion.

You need to understand the people just as much as their gods.
