I've been having this thought recently, you know how babies can't talk until they're around 1-2 years old? What if the reason is that babies have a higher perception of the world, maybe they can understand what we're saying but don't have the words to properly describe it. Like colors or people. Maybe babies already know everything but don't have the words to describe it all
