>>16891052It's interesting, I've been surfing gore sites, newsgroups, gopherspaces, BBSes, etc. since the early 90s and I have never heard of "removedbymods" until some mentions on /x/ and the findadeath forums. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but it must have been incredibly obscure. I can name dozens of old gore/shock locations on and off the net but I've just never heard of that one.
>>16891088I agree, I think a lot of people misremember this clip as being Chubbuck's. The actress being shot was Pam Sutch and it was from an anthology VHS of fake snuff vids but I can't remember the title.
>>16891878You'll never understand. Let us be.
>>16893371Hell no.
>>16893612It's everywhere now, yes, but it was not easily obtainable for several years.
>>16900301People, the 2000s was not "the early days of the Internet." Stop saying that.
>>16898472Your English is better than most native speakers.
>>16905701Was it something called "Death: The Ultimate Trip" ? This is a tape that allegedly exists, according to someone on the Findadeath forum, that is supposed to contain the suicide. Thanks for the info about the video store. I'll see if I can find out the owners of the store and contact them to see if they have any records of their inventory. It's a (very) long shot, I know, but it might be worth the time.
>>16906132>>16906140>>16906215>>16906297>>16906316>>16907284I can say with 100% certainty that the Chubbuck suicide is NOT on any of the Banned in America and Banned from Television tapes. Collecting VHS death/mondo/mixtapes has been a hobby of mine for over 15 years and I have a collection of just over 300. It is not on any tape I own and I own probably all of the ones that are commonly discussed on the Internet. I should make a list of my tapes so people know which ones not to watch.
