Is there any backing to them actually being real anymore?
It seems that all of the actors and actresses have been identified as living people.
I was one of the people who believed the original 1989 tape could have been real, but after looking up the actors and seeing their likeness alive and doing newer movies, I'm willing to finally put the McPherson Tapes to rest as one of the greatest found footage movies of all time, and not a real third encounter.
