It's the basic hermetic set up tool-wise ( golden dawn, thelema, systems like that use it). Basically, it's the wand, dagger, pentacle, and cup (which correspond to 50,000 other symbolic things, but mostly the classical elements; earth, water, fire, air, ether/spirit)
Bullshit aside though, they're more like focus-objects that you psychologically make associations with. So once the associations come automatically, you can figure out suitable proxies for the objects as well.
For the dagger I use a keris knife, a conch shell for the cup, the stone ying-yang for the pentacle, and the wand for, you guessed it, the wand.

I 've been able to manage my time, always have an "internal compass", and just naturally know what time it is roughly using crowley's liber resh daily (just an example, I've gotten quite a few interesting results from other stuff as well) . Also I gotten (and apparently induced in other people, keeping skeptical on it though) trance-states and psychedelic type experiences.

As a kid I wasn't really raised particularly religiously, never really was against religion either. I actually found it very interesting, always loved mythology and always was more attracted to the more scholarly and historical works rather than new agey and "Wiccan" books.

Typical ritual is a banishing, followed by a general invocation. Essentially what one wants to do is create a "clean" space (the circle) and have a combination of tools and symbolism to represent the entire universe on a symbolic level ( which can be very simple or very complex depending on the tradition) so when you manipulate an object or ring a bell or beat a drum or eat a "sacred mushroom" or whatever in your circle, you're symbolically making those connections and manipulating those forces psychologically.

Self taught mostly, I use crowley's book 4 as the backbone of what I do, but I drawn from pretty a lot of sources, classical documents, medieval grimoires, anthropological data, psychological literature. I usually do the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, because it's simple and very widespread with a history of usage, but any banishing would do as long as it's symbolically "clearing" the universe you've set up in your circle.

The keris I got from a shop that sells antique weapons from around the world it's traditionally a banishing implement as well as being a dagger which also corresponds with its symbolic function. The sword I got at a different shop that sold some odd stuff. The Kukri I got online from Himalayan imports, it's made in Nepal by smiths who've been making Kukris for generations. I don't really use that in ritual, i use it to cut logs when I'm camping lol

I find this so odd. It's like asking for a cake recipe that is better than the one you usually do, when taste is pretty damn subjective.

It's even weirder when you consider the fact that you're not even mentioning the "cake" part of the above example, just asking for a recipe.

That said, if anyone treats ritual like recipes, be suspicious. The ritual is just a symbolic act of desire that will put you in the right frame of mind, possibly a trance, to work your magic. If the ritual is meaningless to you or the ritualistic aspects of it actually gets in the way of entering that trance, just don't do it. Find something else.

And most importantly, if you do want to work rituals, design your own unless doing it in some exact fashion is relevant to you. Suppose you were deeply interested in Dee and Kelley's exploits, it might be relevant to do enochian magic as they described, with all the parafernalia and prayers. Otherwise, just do your thing.

Well the entire evoking entities thing is subjective, it can be very unclear at time whether someone is pulling an aspect out of themselves (the microcosm) and giving it form or if they're pulling energy or "divine presence" ( best way to describe it) out of the outside world (macrocosm). The symbolic associations that you've built up become tools to manipulate and theoretically harmonize the microcosm and macrocosm in a way that also coincides with your will.

Well I draw a lot from crowley who based much of his material on concepts from the golden dawn, I've also read regardie's golden dawn book. Haven't been involved with any modern golden dawn reconstructionist groups. I'm pretty familiar with the system though and it forms part of my work.

There could be a number of factors in place, but that particular string of events was too accurate. Did she seem to fall into a deeper trance of temptation(s)? Typically greed is the easiest to spot.

I've studied hermeticism, rosicrucianism, thelema, gardenarian wicca, the holy books of most of the major world religions, collections of the mythologies and folklore of various cultures. Had pretty high reading comprehension from a young age and I retain knowledge pretty well. The important part is building up your "universe" and associations (mythology/theology), then you develop your "Magick" (techniques to spiritually and/or symbolically) bring forces from within and/or without). On top of that, it's also good to follow a mystical system such a yoga (anything similar would do) to develop the concept of an "energy system" (or, again, whatever you want to call it) which can help you concentrate, visualize things better, and can be used to develop your "astral body" to strengthen the effects.
Breathing is important (pranayama) to me because it's a physical representation of the "energy system (but it can be represented by whatever lines up with it symbolically, doesn't even have to be a physical object) also it aids in concentration. There have been occasions where I've banged on a drum to symbolize a heart beat, rhythm can play a big role if you symbolically line it up with the ritual (usually mimicking natural sounds, or numerological patterns)

Shamanism, Native American rituals, Buddhism, many kinds of mythologies. Lots of research in Eastern beliefs, then the more obvious and common. I do remote healings and stuff like that. I'm getting into herbs as a stepping stone but I know that growing plants to mutilate them for ones own gain is not the highest good one can do. Still though, I use herbs as medicine. I also do rituals of cleansing and protection. I dream and act upon the dreams. Is there anything else you want to know?

To grow crop, and let it reproduce is normal. Wild herbs are usually just a stroll away, keep them stocked. As for rare herbs, to harvest those with agriculture is also a good push. That way you're not growing the herb, but naturally and supporting its growth with nurture to the benefit of another's health. It's a nice balance of action and outcome.

I think the highest good is to do without plant what one would do with them. I mean faith without harming anything, plant, rock, animal etc. But I do not know that yet so I grow my basils and sages, and calendulas and use them virtuously and have faith that when I can do without them I will do it swiftly and that they will forgive me for it.

But anyway as for focus, meditation and breath work can help (for a simple example, inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, and exhale for 4 seconds.) combine that with some sort of meditation. Tattva cards are very good for developing focus as well (they're from India, became one of the first things that would be introduced in the Hermetic order of the golden dawn), basically tattva cards are a visualization based meditation tool that can bring all sorts of benefits when it comes to visualizing things (also allegedly can make you develop clairvoyance fairly quickly)
There's two was to deal with negativity, the mirror reflects the sun's rays and the window allows the rays to pass through, but both the mirror and the window remain unharmed by the sunlight. (If you get what I'm saying). It's also good to have a few different ways to "translate" what you do so others and understand it, an ancient Aztec wouldn't know the names of the Norse gods, so why explain yourself to Aztecs with Norse terminology?

Alright, here's how to get back on track in life: with magic. It'd probably take about 3 or 4 months before you start getting results, life changing type stuff can follow.

Now that was an interesting thought. Sort of reinforces my views of all religion(s) to the idea of discipline, more or less in the "be the best person you can be" sort of way. Sounds like you made interchangeable pieces for your ritual(s). Also, atmosphere can be very effective. Having a space/room to turn into a temple isn't as hard as you think, throw some tapestries on the wall, draw a circle on the floor, put statues up of gods associated with the quarters of the temple, etc. doesn't even have to be a permanent temple. Of course the whole "temple" thing is optional, all you really need is in your circle and all you really really need is in yourself
