Died penniless from not milking the fuck out of his students wallets when he could have.
Scientology on the other hand is exteremely authoritarian, obviously was written by l ron hubbard without even looking at lovecraft or crowley's mythos or even bringing his A game to writing it, tells people to not brain medication when actually needed or any drugs at all when need or wanted, actually abducts people for years long boat cruises as unpaid staff, and makes them sign contracts to do so for Multiple Lifetimes. From a founder who died rich from turning all his members into cash machines.
And thats just shit thats been verified and repeated often and often examined again in documentaries to see if that shit is still happening.
My point here: Dude, really? Crowley could teach more people better while dead, rotting and his spirit gone to wherever than Hubbard could if he were alive right now, sitting down with you and telling you " Ask me anything ", meaning it, and you taking him up on it easily.
Even for anything they had in common, Crowleys the better teacher and wont scam you ( at least as much ) while teaching you his tricks :3
