Well, Begotten is pretty disturbing, but it devolves into artsy shock quickly.

Antichrist

I've seen Human Centipede, Begotten, all of the classic shockers. None of them phased me.

But I was actually shaking by the end of Antichrist

Watching it feels like being horribly violated

Beautiful movie though

Yes, I second Antichrist.
Also, the Nymphomaniac trilogy by Von Trier is great as well, but that's a lot of movie/may not be as fitting for Halloween.

I only attempted to watch it because I heard Diamanda Galas worked on the soundtrack but that was a fuckin letdown

I love this movie. Another good film in the "French extremist" category is High Tension. There is also Frontiers, which is really great toward the ending, but in the my opinion the first hour is pretty boring.
