Could this be a part of some sort of ritual /x/?

"A vandal has scrawled a name and an obscure poem in permanent ink all over the cairn at the top of England’s highest peak. The writing “Richard Bennett from the Mont” and year “2015” have been written several times on the stones of the cairn at the top of Scafell Pike. The vandal has also written verses from the seventh tablet of the mythical Emerald Tablets of Thoth. Filmmaker Terry Abraham, who made Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike which aired on the BBC earlier this year, said the vandal’s actions made his blood boil as he condemned the graffiti.

He said: “I just think it’s absolutely disgusting. It’s sadly a reflection of the times and a lack of respect and outdoors education that we have here in the country.”

The vandal wrote on the cairn: “O light, all prevading, one with all and all with one, flow thou to me through the channel. Enter thou so that I may be free. Make me one with the all-soul, shining from the blackness of night. Free let me be of all space-time, free from the veil of the night.

“I, a child of light, command: Free from the darkness to be. Formless am I to the light-soul, formless yet shining with light. Know I the bonds of the darkness must shatter and fall before light.”

The writing is from the mythical Emerald Tablets written by Thoth the Atlantean, an immortal priest-king who is said to have ruled the ancient race of Egypt for around 16,000 years. In his mythical tablets he incorporated his knowledge of ancient wisdom and concealed records of ancient Atlantis.
