Cosmic Chemistry

This is something i've come to realize about the universe which isn't very well known at all. And it's really quite simple.

Basically planets create more complex chemicals with their internal pressure and temperatures. You have hydrogen in great abundance throughout the universe but when oxygen is also present they combine deep inside planets to create H2O, or water. Similarly complex hydrocarbons (aka: fossil fuel) are created inside planets with the same process using different things. If anyone does still believe the myth of fossil fuel being created by dead dinosaurs, then how do they explain the planets with oceans of it we've found, and the massive clouds of it in space? Aside from liquids the process is probably also responsible for the creation of metals and minerals, although likely much slower.

So there it is. What does /x/ think? Seems so obvious after you know that it wouldn't surprise me if someone else has put it together like this and it was suppressed.
