This is it, the episode of Tom & Jerry that had my pre-school innocent years traumatized forever.
I remember being 5, having that episode on a VHS tape along with some Hanna-Barbera ones. I will never forget the very first time that I watched the scene where Jerry disguises himself as a ghost...all the reverb, blaring horns, theremin, xylophones, and sound effects that sounded like they were from a futuristic Japanese anime.
Years later, I rewatched that episode on Boomerang and I realized that there was much more horror in it besides music and SFX. The gags are horrible and so is the animation. It's like the stinky, alcoholic and pedophile cousin of the "Fraidy Cat" episode - creepy and disturbing.
If you want your child to live a normal life without mental meta-traumatic issues later on his life, please avoid this abomination.
