This just took place last weekend.

>be on surf trip with college bros in Donegal (North of Ireland)
>staying in these oldish apartments, the town is pretty historic so a lot of shit had been there for years
>nice enough apartments, just old
>on the first night everbody be dranking
>few of us are in the living room when the door creaks open
>no wind and no one around to do it
>happens a few more times and creeps us out but whatever we're buzzed
>next night tv is acting up
>raving all over the place
>changing channels going to settings etc.
>remembering the night before and the door opening, decided to be funny
>''if there's anyone here, turn the tv off''
>tv literally snaps off
>fucknoiwaskidding.wav
>scared but drunk so act calm and try to talk as if someone is there
>tell them it must suck to be a ghost and pour it a drink
>feel sudden presence next to me on couch in front of where I had poured the drink (couch sinks where 'it sits')
>feel a friendly vibe from the spot
>talk to it and tell it shit about us, eventually I can feel it leave
>that night when I was in bed there are repeated loud knocks coming from the otherside of the closet door
>check everytime but no one is there
>i like to think it tried to communicate with me or something because I was the only one that tried to speak to it
>say ''yo man could you cut that shit out you're scaring the shit out of me''
>no more knocks
>realise the ghost is a bro and say ''annoy that bitch next door'' (my roommate was kind of annoying)
>in my peripheral i see a shadow move across the room and towards the wall that connects my room to hers
>rest of the night was uneventful and we left the next day

I genuinely was a skeptic before all of this. Also made me realise that the biggest fear people have of spirits and whatnot is the basic fear of the unknown. Whatever was in that apartment was harmless.

tl;dr encountered spirit of some kind, was a bro.
