It's nearly halloween and naturally I'll be spending it alone.
I'll need entertaining, so let's share some movies that genuinely scared us.
Suspiria: a girl joins a ballet school to find that it's run by witches. Creepy score and trippy visuals, great atmosphere. One of my favourites.
Jacob's Ladder: a vietnam veteran comes back from the war and has many hallucinations. Hilarity ensues. Trippy as hell
Dark Water (the Japanese one, obviously): a woman and her daughter move into a run down apartment. It turns out to be haunted by a little girl. As ever with the Japanese, creepy as hell.
Rosemary's Baby: a couple move into a posh apartment block. The woman gets pregnant, and starts suspecting her husband has agreed to give up their baby for human sacrifice to their weirdo neighbors. Makes you wonder if she's just paranoid and it's claustrophobic as hell.
This is all I can think of for now. GOGOGO
